Full Term

Well, we have officially reached 37 weeks which means the Ram baby is "full term" and could be born any day. I doubt that is going to happen, but it's kind of fun to know that it could... So we are just awaiting that day when we officially become parents - whenever that day may be. Are we ready? Yes! However, I must say I have a little fear of the unknown - I'm so excited yet am completely aware of the fact that our lives are changing forever - and for the better.

Every visit to the midwives reassures me. They say I look great, the baby looks great and things just couldn't be better (they don't literally say this, but that's how I always feel afterwards). The baby's heartbeat, size and movements all appear to be good. So the next big question is what the baby is going to be. Half are convinced it's a boy, the other half it's a girl. But when the odds are 50/50, you're not taking much of a risk. Don't ask us what we think - we really don't know and we don't want to jinx ourselves. I will try to post a picture of what I look like now (I have realized I have hardly any of myself) so that there will be a record for our friends and posterity.

You may now all sit on the edge of your seats for the "when" and "what" announcements that will hopefully come soon.
