Easter and Things

Happy Easter. How fantastic it was to have conference on the same day as Easter so we could here about Christ directly from the Apostles and Prophet. Extremely appropriate and enjoyable. On the other side of Easter - here is Leilani having bit off the ears of her chocolate rabbit in appropriate two-year-old fashion.
On Monday evening we had an informal Easter egg hunt with a large group of friends. It was a lot of fun but extremely windy. I didn't get many pictures where I could actually see Leilani's eyes because her hair kept blowing in her face.
The adorable one. Loves being outside.
Wonderful Allie who played with Leilani and Tessa the whole time so I could enjoy some grown-up conversation. She rocks!
They were too busy looking through their eggs to bother to smile. Oh well.
It was a great hunt and a great time. Here's to next year.
Tuesday was just a great day, so I have to blog about that as well. I was amazed at how much I was able to get done. I woke up early which is very difficult for me and was able to...
1. write and submit a press release and review a presentation before the girls woke up
2. Shorten Dayne's new scout pants
3. Get my new fitflops in the mail
4. Wear my new fitflops around the house
5. Review presentation again
6. Get a new and free nursing cover in the mail
7. Make bread
8. Baby-sit another child for 6 hours in addition to my own hooligans
9. Review presentation again
10. Finally shower and prepare for presentation
11. Give a presentation to the Stake Presidency and all Bishops. Aaagghh!
12. Finally come home, wear my fitflops some more and hang out with my mom.
AND
13. Recieve an awesome package in the mail from my coolest older sister Heidi that included dresses for the Pioneer trek I'm going on and this awesome creamer!
This is Franciscan Coronado dinnerware. I am in love with it. But it's difficult to find and not always cheap.
And as in incentive to lose a few more pounds - the dresses are just a smidge too tight. Heidi says she made them roomy for herself, but if you've met Heidi, that still means small. So here's to two more months of heavy workouts.
