We won't mention how long it's been since I've blogged, but I've wanted to return to the art of recording my family's history, so we begin with Halloween. And what a celebration! We started the week with Boo at the zoo, followed by a pumpkin patch, 2 trunk-or-treats, and actual trick-or-treating. Apparently when Dayne took the girls out on Halloween night, Leilani kept saying that she wanted to go home. Apparently you can over do it....

I didn't want to get Ava's costume dirty before Halloween, so I dressed her in a poodle skirt. The poor girl is shoved into a 3-6 month onsie for that '3/4 sleeve' look.

Leilani acting 'scared' at Boo at the Zoo.

I love that they're sisters!

A decent spur of the moment family pic at the pumpkin patch. Yay!

If you can't tell yet, our trunk-or-treat theme this year was Pirates of the Caribbean. The girls were more excited then they look. We set this up 2 nights in a row.

Yes, that is CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. Dayne made the children tell him who he was before they were allowed candy.

Trunk-or-treat aftermath. I don't know how she ended up with two suckers... when she's done with them, she just puts them on the carpet. Thanks Ava...

And we finally made it to Halloween night. Just a quiet night for me handing out candy, and a trip around the block for daddy and his girls. I'm surprised the girls allowed me to dress them up for the third night in a row. It was hard to get this picture because they kept getting distracted by a moth that had flown into the house.
